Autumnal Memories | Apple, Donuts, Anise

I found this booth at the Black Girl’s Cookout and was immediately drawn to the array of homemade candles available. I love fall scents, I look forward to B&BW sales every year but I don’t love the idea of pumping harsh chemicals in my home. So I am incredibly glad to have come across House of Amao. The owner was such a sweetheart and is as passionate about candles as I am. She told me about the natural ingredients she utilizes as I got to smell everything she had to offer. All of her products were complex, luscious scents but I was extremely drawn to Autumnal Memories. This candle smells SO GODO! Couldn’t put it down, I knew I had to buy it. I savored the rich dessert smell, not overpowering, sweet, slightly spiced and rich like an apple donut. It was so good that when I finally burned it down, I went online to find more. I was devastated to find out this scent is seasonal but now I know to buy more than one at a time lol. If you want your space to smell warm, inviting and heavenly, you won’t regret this purchase. Just make sure you get enough to last you the year.
